Team Evolution

Programme

Team Evolution is designed for middle and senior management teams in order to better exploit the opportunity to share knowledge and experience, achieve a common goal and significantly improve their individual and team contribution. Over 6 months participants accelerate commercial thinking, create strong teamwork and exchange relevant and considered solutions to real business issues, within a structured framework.

Methodology

Team Evolution works by developing the dynamics of the team as well as the individuals within the team. It is comprised of individual leadership development facilitated by individual coaching and focused workshops that include shared learning, experiential development, group coaching and collaboration, in order to ensure that learning leads to action and the actions lead to improvements in results.

Myres Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) profiling

1 to 1 coaching over 6 months to:

  • generate greater self-awareness and understanding of the team
  • understand working preferences and styles of the team
  • develop personal objectives that will enable increased contribution
  • formulate action plans to bring greater results
  • embed learning from the team and the workshops
  • take action to achieve significant performance improvements
  • provide support, guidance and motivation throughout the programme

4 managerial workshops – 1 day every 4 weeks, participants will:

  • develop a greater understanding of teamwork, team dynamics and exclusion
  • Improve communication, consideration and collaboration
  • generate shared learning
  • create roles, responsibilities and boundries for the team
  • develop new knowledge, techniques and methods to use in their roles
  • increase understanding of the team and others working styles
  • apply different styles to different situations
  • resolve conflict, tension and confusion
  • understand the effectiveness of their contribution
  • improve effective communication

As part of Team Evolution, four workshops are used in order to improve teamwork and individual contribution. Additionally, they are used to develop knowledge, understanding and skill in areas required by the organisation. We provide a suite of workshops for this purpose, for junior to senior managers. We can discuss the most appropriate for your teams.

Team Evolution provides the facilitation, learning and motivation to action those changes needed to make real and significant change in team behaviour and performance.  Throughout the programme each participant is supported, guided and motivated by our coach to use their potential to maximise their ability within their team as well as within their managerial role, and are able to:

  • resolve disputes and move on quickly
  • focus on the team development and contribution
  • increase support and information to other team members
  • utilise the skills of the team more effectively

  • develop their team style in line with the team requirements
  • use the correct team behaviours to get the best results

Most importantly they develop highly effective teamwork and take positive, effective action to further improve their team working ability and results.
