The Business Exchange

The New-U Business Exchange is about creating your leadership success. It develops greater personal leadership capability and credibility, defining and enhancing your ability to realise your personal best through a focused, action-orientated learning experience. It embeds greater understanding of yourself and your impact and motivation of others. It helps you decide what you really want, and challenges you to make it happen.

The Business Exchange helps makes you more successful. By developing your ability to lead yourself further you will be able to reach goals that have so far appeared unrealistic or even impossible.

Methodology

We use a variety of methods to develop the best possible leaders. These include practical, theory and experiential activities. This will include classroom style training, open discussion, coaching and practice, if appropriate. Our courses are very interactive and will require participants to be open minded, supportive and prepared to share themselves with others. The success of the workshops is reliant upon full participation.

Collaboration

You will participate in a shared learning experience like no other. You will work with other dynamic, progressive and talented professionals – managers, owners, directors and senior figures from a diverse range of industries.

They will share their experiences and give you their knowledge. You will learn how to learn from others, how to communicate more strongly at a senior level, how to negotiate, debate and influence. You will develop you abilities to have an impact on others. You may even make new friends as you share your knowledge and experiences for the benefit of others. There is also a reasonable chance that you will do business – after all, you're there because of your business, but remember this is about you as a leader.

Learning

The programme runs over a six month period. Formally, you will attend four full day workshops covering a number of key leadership methods and models. You will be involved in practical participation that you can take back to your work and use. You will gain a practical understanding of your strengths and how to use them effectively in your role. You will become a better leader, wiser, bolder, more confident and courageous. You will lead like you have never led before.

Coaching

Over 6 coaching session, you will move through an amazing journey of self-discovery and awareness. You will discover insights as to who you are, how you behave and what you really want. You will be creative, visual, challenging and inspiring. You will uncover those fears that have held you back and you will face them. You will take calculated personal risks that will bring benefit and reward, supported by your personal coach. You will embed your learning from the workshop in actions that will help you move to a position of success. You will recognise your part in the outcome of every event and how to take complete control of your life and work.

The workshops provide a comprehensive professional development experience that teaches participants a practical set of tools, techniques and models, and includes facilitation from experienced, credentialed leadership coaches. The workshops are highly interactive and collaborative, sharing experiences, learning and solutions.

The Learning Journey

The course requires 100% commitment and attendance, as every module is essential to you completing this part of your leadership development.

Venue

Coaching will be agreed at times and dates appropriate to you. Locations will be mutually agreed between you and your coach.
