The Manager as coach

Programme

The Manager as Coach is a coach training programme for organisations wanting to maximise the benefits of coaching within their culture. This 2 day intensive course will train and develop coaching techniques and processes for managers and supervisors to create, develop and sustain a highly effective and motivating coaching culture within their team and peer group, where coaching is used as the predominant management style.

Methodology

The Manager as Coach utilises a number of development methods including real-play, experiential learning, role-play and practice to create the most capable coaches.  The learning focus is placed upon developing the tools, processes, techniques and skills to perform coaching in a way that creates a more motivated, aware, energetic team.

 

The Manager as Coach will:

  • Develop powerful coaching techniques and processes
  • Introduce a new way of engaging and motivating
  • Provide a practical and powerful way of communicating

  • Develop individual and group coaching techniques
  • Build powerful listening and questioning skills

Action

The Manager as Coach provides the practical learning needed to develop coaching skills and behaviours.  It develops a new way of working, a new tool that will create learning, evoke action and stimulate performance and inclusion.
